Welcome To Planet Fungi Planet Fungi is mainly an educational organization, run by Kyle Collins, an educator and mushroom enthusiast from Sebastopol, California. We also grow local, naturalized and wild strains of favorite fungi varieties and incorporate the mushroom organism into the home, garden, and farm landscape. Educational Workshops Our workshops are top notch. We partner with local land, orchard, farm owners, and schools to deliver hands-on, experiential programs designed to give participants the knowledge and physical experience necessary to begin growing mushrooms at home. Myco-Landscape Projects We are also available for consultations and for the implementation of mushroom cultivation projects in home gardens, farms, or landscapes. The infusion of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms within the garden and landscape not only benefits humans, but also enhances the diversity and abundance of beneficial insects, soil microbes, and animals; while aiding in water retention and building rich humic soil. We specialize in designing artful arrangements of inoculated logs, and mushroom beds that will erupt with your favorite mushroom varieties.
